The DRIVEWAY Story :)

A band trapped in eternal purgatory never disbands. It merely floats around, disembodied, gestating in the endless and vast Rick Ruben-like ether. That is, until one very powerful singer/bass-player reaches into said ether and plucks an EP worth of material out of it, finally recording and finishing the big debut album and unleashing the horror of it upon this reality.

The band originally formed in 2020 under the name Platonic Ideal before prestige rebirthing as "The DRIVEWAY" in 2022, a seismic shift of a change which additionally added a new member to the band and also brought forth great INSANITY into the feeble mind of the lead vocalist and "singer songwriter" (who also happens to be writing this paragraph in 3rd person right now) leading me to put off finishing the music we had already written. Although the past few years have felt like a bit of a development hell, im thankful to my friends and band members who have still held out HOPE over the last 2 years that I'll be able to finish writing these songs lol. Here's to a big 2025 for the self proclaimed "rag tag group of misfits" that this band consists of. Our debut album was and IS the biggest passion project of my life so far and even if the only audience is CRICKETS, I hope they enjoy it at least ;) Check out Neocities!
